MEET OUR CEO: KIRSTEN KING

The female dynamo known to most as Kirsten L. King is proof that big things can come in small packages. Raised in Geneva GA, the single mother of two had to learn at a young age how to manage a lot with just a little. Kirsten graduated from Columbus Technical College as a Certified Customer Service Representative and then went on to complete her Bachelors from the University of Phoenix in Business Management. Having to raise two children on her own made her more than determined to carve out a life for them that would be stable and filled with security. But security has not come easy. Like many others, the economy did not deal a good hand to the young mother but she refused to be beaten. Ms. King formed her own company D30 Entertainment to service a need in the entertainment realm for successful events with a female touch. That endeavor lead to a career in the radio industry and Kirsten is currently the CEO of not only D30 Entertainment, but also D30 radio and partners with many successful and up and coming artists in the Southeast area. Ms. King is also co-founder of female empowerment organization for women, Ladies Taking the Lead and she's also Lead Anchor, Pvlse Media T.V.

Having young children of her own, Kirsten saw a need for more mentoring and educational  programs for preteens and teens. So with just a notepad and her drive, Kirsten developed her signature program, When I Grow Up, which is a mentor-ship program that teaches kids leadership, life skills and standard etiquette. When I Grow Up brings in various community leaders and role models to show the children what is possible for their future. Along with that, WIGU and her D30 brand an annual Mother/Son dance for the community at large.Kirsten is the 2014 Recipient of Eco-Latino/ The Courier Community Service Award, served as a Member of Campaign to Elect Felicia L.
